Privacy Policy

YourAIVoice is a free text-to-speech website operated by Markaroo Solutions ("we", "us"). It is built so that we don't need your personal data: the speech is created inside your own browser, on your device. This policy explains exactly what happens to your information.

1. How YourAIVoice works

• When you open the app and accept our terms, your browser downloads the voice engine (the open-source Kokoro-82M model and supporting files) from our website.
• When you press Generate, your text is turned into speech by your own browser, on your device. Your text, the audio and the captions are not sent to us or to anyone else.
• The audio stays in your browser's temporary memory until you leave the page or make a new file. Please download anything you want to keep: we have no copy and can't recover it.

2. What we receive

Like every website, our web host (Hostinger) receives basic technical data needed to deliver the pages and files to you, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages or files requested and the time. The host may keep these server logs for a limited time for security and reliability, under its own privacy policy. We do not use them to identify or profile you.

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other personal details, and we do not receive the text you type (except for the optional Arabic voices described in section 4).

3. Cookies and browser storage

We use no cookies and no tracking or fingerprinting. To avoid downloading the voice engine again on every visit, your browser keeps a copy of the engine files (about 95 MB) in its own storage ("Cache Storage"). It also keeps a copy of our website files so YourAIVoice can be installed as an app and work offline. This storage contains only our public program files — never your text or audio. You can remove it at any time by clearing this website's data in your browser settings.

We remember that you accepted our terms using your browser's local storage on this device, so you only need to accept once. This is not a cookie, isn't sent to us, and tells us nothing about you; clearing this site's data removes it, and we ask again only if the terms change.

4. Arabic voices (optional)

If the Arabic (UAE) voices are offered on the website, they are provided by Microsoft Azure AI Speech and work differently from the other voices:

• When you generate Arabic audio, your Arabic text and settings are sent over an encrypted connection, through our server, to Microsoft to create the audio. Microsoft states that it does not store or log the text or the audio for this real-time service.
• Our server passes the request on and does not store your text or audio.
• To prevent abuse, our server keeps a short-lived, one-way scrambled code (a "hash") made from your IP address, only to count requests for up to one hour. It cannot be turned back into your IP address. We also keep a monthly total of characters used, which contains no personal data.
• Microsoft may process data outside your country. See Microsoft's data, privacy and security information for text to speech.

If you don't want your text to leave your device, use any of the other languages.

5. Third parties

The website loads nothing from other companies: our fonts, scripts, voice files and samples are all served from our own website. We use no analytics, advertising or social-media tools. Apart from the optional Arabic voices, no outside service receives your text.

6. Legal basis

We process data only to provide the service you ask for, following India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. By accepting our terms and pressing Generate, you consent to that processing. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, processing is necessary to provide the service you requested, and our limited abuse-prevention measures rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the service available.

7. Your rights

Because we don't keep your text, audio or any account data, there is normally nothing stored about you to access, correct or delete. You can still contact us with any question or request about your data.

8. Children

YourAIVoice is not intended for children. If you are under 18, please use it only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.

9. Security

The website is delivered over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Because speech is made on your device and we run no database of user data, there is no store of your content to breach.

10. Changes and contact

If we change how YourAIVoice handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date. For privacy questions, requests or complaints, contact Markaroo Solutions at markaroosolutions@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.
